Medicare Coverage

Medicare with a PPO supplemental Plan can help cover the cost of one pair of shoes and up to three pairs of inserts every calendar year. To see if you qualify, check out the information below:

What's Covered?

  • One pair of shoes per calendar year
  • Three pairs of inserts per calendar year

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must have Medicare Insurance with a PPO supplemental plan not Medicaid
  • To qualify for Medicare covered shoes and inserts, you must be diabetic plus at least one other foot condition, such as plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, bunions, etc.
  • Please note, being diabetic with an additional foot condition does not automatically guarantee coverage—MCR and PPO plans may still deny the claim.
